As the Patient Experience Team for Cardiff and Vale University Health Board we pledge to;

• Provide information to all carers, ensuring they know their rights and what support is available to
them, allowing them to have a life alongside their caring role
• Continue to raise awareness of carers in our hospitals and communities supporting areas to
become more carer friendly
• Listen to carers and give them a voice
• Involve Carers in decision making and discharge arrangements
