2021 saw the great team at Home Instead take on our Carer Friendly Advanced Accreditation, and they passed with flying colours!

Home Instead offer a range of quality services for older people, from at-home care to residential care, across Newport, Caerleon, Cwmbran…the list goes on!

As well as offering paid-for services, Home Instead also do outstanding work to support the friends and family of their service users; working with Carers Trust South East Wales, staff are able to signpost family carers to other services in their area. Staff work alongside family carers in the home of the person being cared for and help them to stay informed about local carers’ services.

Home Instead also work closely with dementia and Alzheimer’s organisations, to offer appropriate support to families caring for people living with dementia.

Not only that, but Home Instead Charities has recently taken off! As well as signposting to carers services in the area, the charity arm of Home Instead works to support older people through community activities, grassroots funding grants, and events which may offer family carers respite from their caring role.

Carer Friendly are very happy, and proud, to award Advanced Accreditation to Home Instead. Your teams demonstrate a clear commitment to your service users and their carers.
