The Team underwent a training session, allocated a Carers Champion and a Senior Carers Lead to ensure that carers have a dedicated point of contact for advice and information and to ensure that unpaid carers are considered in the planning and development of their services. They have also highlighted avenues for local support on their website and have made connections with local unpaid carers services. It is fantastic to see a non-carer specific service striving to support carers in the work that they do.
