The Carer Friendly Accreditation Panel have awarded Brynmawr Medical Practice Advanced Accreditation.  The Team at the medical practice are working in collaboration with a wide range of other services and professionals to ensure that patients at the practice who are unpaid carers are receiving support that is appropriate for their individual needs.  The practice is part of both Compassionate Communities and the GP Carer Engagement Service which ensure that a holistic approach is being taken to support carers. The surgery has both a Carers Champion and a Senior Carers Lead and have dedicated a notice board in the reception area for carers information and support.
