Carer Friendly is part of the charity TuVida

Barry Jobcentre Plus/DWP

At Barry Jobcentre, we recognise that carers play a vital role in supporting people with a variety of needs. The Department is committed to working in partnership with peoples’ carers to provide high quality, person-centred, community based advice and guidance for all.

We will take time to listen, build trusting relationships, and ensure carers feel welcomed, respected, and fully informed on opportunities for help and support, both financially and practically for their well being alongside managing their caring responsibilities.

We aim to communicate openly and consistently, involving them in planning and decision making where appropriate.

Commitments
