As part of my role as a Counsellor at CTSEW, I recognise and value the role unpaid carers play every single day within our society. I understand how exhausting and isolating the caring role can be, especially now, in these unprecedented times. As a counselling service we are here to listen. I commit to continuing to offer help, guidance and support groups to carers, across the Vale of Glamorgan. I commit to continually working closely with other mental health organisations to raise the awareness of the barriers and challenges carers face in their caring roles on a regular basis. I will continue to actively encourage others to become Carer Friendly, in the local community.
